Thirty Year Industry Veteran Joins NAI Retail Group as Vice President

PHOENIX – NAI Horizon welcomes the addition of Mike Clancey, as Vice President with their Retail Services Division. Clancey will focus on the sale and leasing of retail properties with a specific focus on restaurant representation.

“Mike brings many years of deal making experience to our retail group and he has a successful history of representing national and regional restaurateurs in executing their multi unit site acquisition strategies. This intimate knowledge of the restaurant industry coupled with years of developing restaurant relationships, serves both restaurant users and landlords very well” said Thad Seligman, President of NAI Horizon.

Clancey has been a commercial leasing and investment broker since 1978 in the Phoenix Valley, spending the first seventeen years of his career with CBRE. After leaving CBRE he gained additional deal making experience while working with Insignia/ESG and Coldwell Banker Commercial throughout the last thirteen years. Clancey brings a solid record of closing deals with a long list of strong client relationships.

Mike graduated from Michigan State University, and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). During his career Mike has worked with a variety of clients including; AMC Theatres, Boston Market, California Pizza Kitchen, Houston’s Restaurants, IHOP, Olive Garden and Flo’s Restaurants, PetSmart, Play It Again Sports, Ruby Tuesday’s, Scottrade, Starbucks, The Clothing Company, The Mattress Firm as well as retail developers Vestar and Westcor, to highlight a small portion of his client list.
