NAI Horizon springs into April by giving back

The month of April brought out the best of the NAI Horizon office with two events that highlighted community involvement and camaraderie.

Team NAI Horizon raised almost $5,000 for Brokers for Kids this year. Brokers for Kids benefits Boys Hope Girls Hope, a charity dedicated to helping academically capable and motivated children in need to meet their full potential. Captain Gabe Ortega assembled a great team that won three of four events at the annual Olympiad April 13 at Scottsdale Stadium.

Leading up to the event, NAI Horizon raised money over the course of the year through “Jeans Friday,” a ping pong contest, and the cornhole trials for BFK. To learn more about Brokers for Kids click here.

The weather was great as NAI Horizon sponsored the Pinnacle Course No. 2 hole at the 2018 Valley Partnership Golf Tournament April 19 at Troon North. Golfers received NAI Horizon branded items, participated in a hula hoop contest and had the opportunity to be entered in a drawing to win prizes.

A highlight was watching Patrick Anthon of the retail team turn heads with his hula hoop acumen. It was quite a sight to see.

Valley Partnership is the “Valley of the Sun’s Premier Advocacy Group for Responsible Development.” To learn more about Valley Partnership click here.

Both events were truly team efforts. A heartfelt thanks goes out to our very own Terry Martin-Denning for her leadership.
